Blessed Emilio Puente González Biography
Blessed Emilio Puente González, Emilio grew up in a religious family and was baptized at the age of one day when he was 5 years old. He had an aunt who was Piarist, three uncle and three cousins who were members of the Congregation of San Pedro ad Vincula. Educated by an uncle who was a diocesan priest. Emilio joined the Congregation in Marseille, France, made his profession on March 19, 1930, and began to study for the priesthood. Imprisoned and murdered because they were religious during the Spanish Civil War. Martyr.
