Bl Hilsindis was the daughter of the Duke of Lorraine. She was a married laywoman. Widow. Bl. Hilsindis founded a convent at Thorn (now in the Netherlands) and joined it as a Benedictine nun and Abbess at Thorn. She died in 1028 of natural causes.
