Blessed Matthew Lambert, a Deep-rooted layman in the bishopric of Ferns, Ireland; functioned as a pastry specialist. One of the Irish Martyrs. Hanged, then drawn and finally quartered on 5 July 1581 in Wexford, Ireland.
