Saint James Intercisus Biography

Saint James Intercisus was also known as Jakob Intercisus. He was a Military official and squire to King Jezdigerd I. During Jezdigerd’s mistreatment of Christians, James apostatized.

Following Jezdigerd’s passing, he was reached by relatives who had never repudiated their confidence.

James encountered an emergency of confidence and still, small voice, and transparently communicated his confidence to the new ruler Bahram. He was censured, tormented and martyred.
