Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Alexander Rawlins was born in Oxford, England. He studied in Winchester before transferring to Hart Hall at Oxford. Alexander Rawlins went to London to practice medicine known as (apothecary). In June 1586 he was Jailed twice in England for outspoken Catholic sympathizer and was banished. In December 1587 Rawlins entered college in Reims, France. He Ordained a priest at Soissons on 18 March 1590 and sent on the English mission on 9 April.
Bl. Alexander Rawlins Death
Alexander Rawlins was arrested at Winston, Durham in 1595, there he met Henry Walpole. Both were put to death by hanged, drawn and quartered at Knavesmire on April 7, 1595.
