Blessed Carlos Rubio Álvarez Biography
Blessed Carlos Rubio Álvarez, in 1882 he joined the Hospitallers of St. John of God in Ciempozuelos (Spain), took the name Federico and made his perpetual vow in 1889. Studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (Italy). Consecrated in Rome on February 12, 1899. Provincial of his order. Served as predecessor of his house, novice master, director and chaplain of the apostolic school of the Order. Martyr in the Spanish Civil War.
