Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Clement was a priest in Italy. In 1269 he chose Augustinian Provincial as a place for worship. Blessed Clement worked with Blessed Augustine of Tarano for years to revise the constitutions of the Order, implementing them in 1290.
Clement encouraged his brother friars to become educated and, improved the training of Augustinian novices. He founded five Augustinian schools and supported the creation of libraries. He was a devotee of to the Blessed Virgin Mary and passed some of that along to the tradition of the Augustinians.
Clement was known as a Miracle worker.
