Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Edward Bamber studied at Saint Omer and at the English College of Saint Gregory in Seville, Spain. In 1626 he became a priest and returned to England to minister to covert Catholics, mainly in Lancashire. Edward Bamber was immediately arrested upon landing but released. In 1643 he was arrested again and condemned for the crime of being a priest.
