Biography

Bl. Eleanora was the daughter of Count Raymond IV. She was married to King Henry III of England on 14 January 1236 at age 10 and became a queen of England. when she was widowed after 37 years of marriage, she became a Benedictine nun at the abbey of Amesbury in England. She is known to be a religious and prayerful woman.
