Blessed Eve of Liège was born in 1205 in Liege, Belgium. She was born in a wealthy family but she gave it all up to become an anchoress at the church of Saint Martin in Liège, Belgium.
She was the friend of Blessed Juliana of Mont Cornillon and then continued her campaign to introduce the feast of Corpus Christi.

Blessed Eve’s Death
She died in 1265 in Liège, Belgium. Her death was brought about by natural causes. Eve was then buried in the church of Saint Martin in Liège. Her relics were enshrined in 1542, 1622 and 1746.
Currently, relics are enshrined in the Belgian cities of Ghent, Antwerp and Liège.
