Blessed Giulio of Montevergine, destined to the Italian nobility, he got decent instruction in music, writing and the sciences. As a young fellow he felt a call to religious life, gave away all he had to poor people, and left home to live as a recluse in the zone of Campania, Italy. He and another recluse, named Giovanni, grew such notoriety for knowledge and heavenliness that they attracted would-be understudies, and the nearby primitive masters fabricated them isolation and a congregation devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The two recluses needed the property depended to a religious request, so Pope Gregory XIII sent the Camaldolese Benedictines. With the spot and the neighborhood individuals thought about by the priests, Giulio pulled back from the territory to come back to life as a devoted recluse. With the authorization of the priests, he lived close to the convent of Montevergine, yet never joined the Order. He served the nunnery for a long time as organist and accomplished such notoriety, that individuals originated from different urban communities to hear him during sacraments.
