Blessed Giuseppe Puglisi Biography
Blessed Giuseppe Puglisi was also known as Pino Puglisi. He was the son of Carmelo and Giuseppa Fana Puglisi, a shoemaker and a sewer. Appointed on 2 July 1960 as a cleric in the archdiocese of Palermo, Italy. Ward cleric in the regions of Settacannoli, Romagnolo, Vadessi, Godrano and Brancaccio in Italy. Questioner of the Basilian sisters Figlie di Santa Macrina. Educated at various schools from 1962 to 1993.
Worked with youth in the least fortunate regions of his assignments, and helped show any individual who might tune in about the changes of Vatican II that were intended to revitalize the contribution of the people. Worked in Godrano to end bleeding grudges, and accommodated families broken by savagery. An individual from the Presenza del Vangelo.
Bad habit minister of the theological college in Palermo on 9 August 1978; executive of diocesan occupations on 24 November 1979 and of the locale on 5 February 1986. The work he did in schools, with jobs and in the areas demonstrated a model for later educators who work from the Christian perspective. Worked with gatherings of nuns, ministers and laypeople to improve living conditions and to denounce wrongdoing and the conspiracy of chose authorities with sorted out wrongdoing. He got a progression of dangers and was killed at home by the mafia for his work.
