Bl. Godeschalk of Zeliv Biography
Bl. Godeschalk of Zeliv was a canon in Steinfeld, Germany. He led Premonstratensian brothers who revived an abandoned Benedictine Monastery of the Czech Republic which became one of the most significant religious institutions in Bohemia.
Its brothers formed other houses in the region. Godeschalk was a spiritual teacher of Blessed Gerlac of Milevsko.
