Blessed Helena Cierpka was born on 11 April 1900 in Granowiec, Odolanów, Wielkopolskie, diocese of Kalisz, Poland. She was a Member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She was also one of the Martyrs of Nowogrodek who were killed for their faith in the Nazi persecutions.
