Blessed Jane of Toulouse Biography
Blessed Jane of Toulouse was born in the early 13th century. She received the Carmelite veil from Saint Simon Stock, taking a vow of perpetual chastity. She also used to follow the rule of Saint Albert of Jerusalem.
Jane was not only the first Carmelite tertiary but also the foundress of the Carmelite Third Order. She worked with the sick and poor, and trained young Carmelite friars.
