Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Juli Junyer Padern ordained in 1921 and taught philosophy, literature and Gregory chant in Girona, Spain. Father Juli was arrested by anti–Catholic forces in 1938, but was released. Father Juli helped others Salesian escape and that what led for hi re-arrest for treason and espionage. murdered in the Spanish Civil War.
