Blessed Louise of Savoy, born to nobility, the daughter of Bl. Amadeus IX, Duke of Savoy. Cousin to St. Joan of Valois. 1479 married to Hugo of Châlons. Widowed in 1489. Joined the poor Clares at Orbe (in modern Switzerland) and was charged with the food for her home.
