Biography

Blessed María Romero Meneses, one of eight youngsters born to a well off, high society family. Her dad was an administration serve. Instructed by her family, mentors and at the nearby Salesian Sisters’ school, she could play piano and violin, considered illustration, and wanted to learn. At twelve years old she went through a year with rheumatic fever; she was incapacitated for a half year and her heart was for all time harmed. She was restored by the intervention and nebulous vision of Our Lady, Help of Christians, during which vision she comprehended her employment to be a Salesian sister.

On 8 December 1915, Maria joined the Marian Association’s Daughters of Mary. She joined the Daughers of Mary, Help of Christians in 1920, and on 6 January 1929 in Nicaragua, Maria made her last calling as a Salesian. Moved to San Jose, Costa Rica in 1931. Shown music, attracting and composing to rich school young ladies, prepared catechists and exchanges to poor people. A considerable lot of her understudies were prevailed upon to her lifestyle, and worked with her to support poor people and relinquished.

Charity

Maria built up a service of raising money and of appearing well off down to earth approaches to carry their philanthropy to poor people. She started to set up recreational focuses in 1945, and some food distribution points in 1953. She opened a school for poor young ladies in 1961, and 1966 a facility staffed by volunteer specialists. In 1973 she sorted out the development of seven homes, which turned into the establishment of the town of Centro San Jose, a network were poor families could have nice homes. A fantastic instructor, chief and reserve raiser, she was known for her method for expediting God to individuals one, carrying affection and dedication to the Eucharist to social upgrades.
