Biography
Blessed Pedro Romero Espejo, also Fr Pedro Romero Espejo was conceived in Pancorbo (Burgos) April 28, 1871.He entered the Redemptorist school at El Espino and was in the end pronounced on September 24, 1889.
He was ordaned on February 29, 1896. He was an amazingly timid individual and not given to friendly teacher movement. So he gave his life to the service of compromise, and to a religious existence of reflection, supplication and embarrassment, seeing an incredible soul of neediness to other people.
In the wake of being in the networks of Astorga (León) and Madrid, he was moved, Cuenca. With the episode of the common war, he was driven away from the network and to live, just like the case for different associates, wtih a neighborhood family in their private home. To get away from the consideration of the persecutors and keep on taking part in the apostolate, he went asking in the lanes of the city.
Confined a few times by the state army, at last, in May 1938 he was captured and taken to jail, where, physically and profoundly tended to by different clerics being held detainee, he kicked the bucket of diarrhea on May 29th.
