Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Ventura of Spello was born to a wealthy family. He joined the Benedictine Italian Cruciferi and built an abbey and hospital on his family estate near Assisi, Italy, and served as its abbot the rest of his life.
Death
He died in 1265 AD of natural causes and buried at his abbey church in Spello, Italy. His remain were re-enshrined in 1625 and then again in 1778.
