Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Wolbodó of Liège studied at the Domschool in Utrecht, Netherlands. He was give a teaching job there, became a master teacher in 1012. The student society of Menschen Vereeniging Wolbodo is named after him. He was a Prince-Bishop of Liège, Belgium from 1018 until his death.
Death
He died on April 21 1021 in Liège, Belgium of natural causes and buried in the church crypt at Saint Lawerence Abbey which he had founded in Liège. His remain were re-interred October 26 1656.
