St. Alonso Rodriguez Biography
St. Alonso Rodriguez was a Jesuit who was ordained in 1624 Ad. He served as a missionary to Brazil and Paraguay. In conjunction with St. Rocco and St. Juan de Castillo, he founded the Reduction of the Assumption on the Ijuhi river. They also established the All Saints mission in Caaro, Brazil later in 1628. He was killed within 15 days in his missionary work there.
