Biography
Saint Amalburga of Mauberge, a seventh century relative of St. Pepin of Landen. Hitched youthful to Count Witger. Mother of St. Gudula of Brussels, St. Emebert, and St. Reineldis, every one of whom she showed herself, including religion. At the point when the most youthful was developed, both Amalburga and her better half resigned to Benedictine houses, the Count to Lobbes, Belgium, Amalburga to Maubeuge Abbey where she grasped an actual existence of plainness and supplication. Gotten the cloak from St. Willibrord of Echternach. She once crossed a lake by riding on the back of a monster sturgeon, which prompted her portrayal on or with a fish.
