Biography
Saint Antôn Nguyen Huu Quynh, a layman. Doctor. Catechist. Attempted to help the preachers of the Paris Foreign Mission Society. Captured in 1838 he went through two years in jail for partnering with outside evangelists. There, between episodes of torment and misuse, he utilized his medical abilities to help individual detainees. Martyred in the oppressions of head Minh Mang.
