Saint’s Biography

Saint Arnoald was born in 560 AD France and was the son of Ansbert of Moselle and Blithildis. Husband to Oda married in 584. Their Union bore them a son Saint Arnulf of Metz. No other information as survives about Arnoald prior to his becoming Bishop of Metz or after taking the position.

Death

He died in 611 AD in Metz, France of natural causes.
