St Bênadô Võ Van Duê was born in 1755 AD in Quan Anh, Nam Ðinh, Vietnam. He was an adult convert to Catholicism. He became a Priest in the apostolic vicariate of East Tonkin. Bênadô worked for decades at various missions around the country. He was finally arrested in 1838 AD for the crime of priesthood. He was also one of the Martyrs of Vietnam.
