St. Benignus of Armagh Biography
St. Benignus of Armagh was the son of an Irish Chieftain Sesenen. He was by A disciple of St. Patric accompanying him in his missions. He was noted as a choral singer and A liturgical music planner. He was even referred to as Patrick the psalm-singer. He preached through the regions of Clare, Kerry, and Connaught. Later he served as an abbot of Drumlease for 20 years. He succeeded St. Patrick as the bishop of Ireland.
