Saint Chrysanthus Biography
Saint Chrysanthus was married to Saint Daria. He was zealous and public in his Christianity. He died during the persecutions of Numerian and Carinus.
Many legends developed around a couple of married martyrs, and others were re-written to use them as their lead characters. Modern scholarship has dismissed all these, leaving only two of the thousands of faithful who lost their lives in the early days of the Church.
