St. Clair of Tours Biography
St. Clair of Tours was a wealthy citizen of Tours, France who gave up his wealth and position to become a monk at Marmoutier Abbey in Tours. He was a spiritual student of St. Martin of Tours and a friend of St. Sulpicius and St.Paulinus of Nol. He became a priest but served his later days as a hermit.
