Saint’s Biography
Saint Claudius of Terni was a captain of the Roman army. He was executed in Terni in central Italy along with his subordinate (Saint Carbonanus, Planus, and Tibudianus) during persecutions of Emperor Claudius. The reason was that he allowed the arrested Christians too much freedom and also urged them to endure. Their memorial day is January 8th.
