St. Donatus of Fiesoli was also known as Donat/Donagh.He was a well educated poet and scholar.In 816 AD he was on a pilgrimage to Rome,Italy with Andrew The Scot and he was stopped in Tuscany and here he was compelled to become a bishop of Fiesoli,Italy.He was popularly known due to his solicitous hospitality to pilgrims.
