Biography
Saint Elio of Koper, a first century convert. Spiritual understudy of St. Ermacora of Aquileia. Elder to Nazarius, first bishop of Koper (in present day Slovenia). Assembled a congregation committed to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Died in the late 1st century of natural causes, his were relics enshrined under the altar of the choir in the cathedral of Koper, Slovenia in the late 17th century.
