St. Elpidephorus Biography
St. Elpidephorus was a Persian senator during the persecutions of King Sapor II. When he led a group of senators speaking in support of the faith and courage shown by Saints Acindynus, Pegasius and Anempodistus, he was exposed as a Christian and killed. He is one of the martyrs of Isfahan.
