Saint’s Biography

Saint Engelmaro was born to a poor peasant family in Bavaria, Germany. He became a hermit in the forest near Passau in Germany. People went to him for advice as he was a wise man. He was murdered by a man jealous of his popularity on January 13 to 14 1100 near Passau in Germany. The killer hid the body in a snowdrift. His relics were transferred to a Promenstatensian church in Windberg, Germany in 1331.
