St. Frideswide Biography
St. Frideswide was also known as Fredeswinda. He was the daughter of Prince Didan. At the point when a neighbouring respectable, Prince Algar, with respect to her turn in a masterminded marriage, Frideswide fled to Thomwry Wood, Birnsey, England where she lived as a hermitess. Benedictine religious recluse.
Established Saint Mary’s Convent, and filled in as its abbess. The cloister is currently Christ Church College, University of Oxford, and the religious community church moved toward becoming Oxford house of prayer.
