St. Gabriel Lalemant Biography
St. Gabriel Lalemant was a Nephew of the Jesuit teachers Charles and Jerome Lalemant. Entered the Jesuits in Paris, France on 24 March 1630. Preacher, landing in Canada on 20 September 1646. Doled out as aide to Saint John de Brebeuf among the Huron in mid-1649, he was before long martyred with him. One of the Martyrs of North America.
