Saint’s Biography
Saint Henry Walpole was born in 1558 in England. He graduated in Norwich, in Peterhouse in Cambridge and in the Gray’s Inn. He joined the Catholic Church as a because of Saint Edmund Campion martyrdom. In 1598, he joined the English College in Rome but joined the Company of Jesus in 1584. Saint Henry was ordained a priest in 1588.
St. Henry Walpole Arrest and Death
Henry returned to England in 1593 and arrested on suspicious of begin a priest. He was questioned in York and transferred to the Tower of London. He was tortured 14 hours in two months. Henry was sentenced be hanged, drawn, and quartered on April 7 1595.
