Daily Catholic Quote Description
Hold your eyes on God and leave the doing to Him. That is all the doing you have to worry about.
St. Jane Frances de Chantal was born in Dijon, France, on 28 January 1572. She married the Baron de Chantal when she was 21 years.
Baron de Chantal was accidentally killed by an arquebus while out hunting in 1601 and so became a widow at age 28 with four children. She never remarried. She chose chastity until death.
She forgave her husband’s killer and therefore got the blessings from God to start her religious life where she founded the Congregation of the Visitation in Annecy, France.
