Saint’s Biography
Saint Kentigerna was born in Ireland once in the 6th century. She was the daughter of Prince Kelly of Leinster and Saint Coellen. Kentigerna married the prince and became the mother of Saint Fillan. When Kentigerna became a widow, she left Ireland to Scotland and lived as a nun there. She lived for the rest of her life as a monarch on the island of Inch Cailleach in Loch Lomond.

Kentigerna died in 734 AD on Inch Cailleach, Scotland. A church was named after her.
