Biography
Saint Louis Martin, a deep rooted layman in the ward of Bayeux-Liseux, France. Child of a military official. Watchmaker. Hitched to St. Marie-Azelie Guérin Martin on 12 July 1858. Father of nine kids; five of, all young ladies, made due to adulthood and moved toward becoming nuns; the most youthful was St. Therese of Lisieux. In 1889 he endured two deadening strokes pursued by a total mental breakdown, and was hospitalized for a long time.
