Biography
Saint Macrine of Niort, With her sister Colombe, Macrine fled to France from Spain to escape abuses in the fourth century. In the territory of Niort, France, she and Saint Pezenne established a little cloister. Helped convert the general population of the Marais Poitevin area to Christianity.
