Biography

Saint Marie de Saint-Just, a girl of a well off rancher known for his philanthropy. A touchy kid, she withdrew to quietness and isolation. Her dad kicked the bucket when Anne was as yet youthful, and she before long helped help the family by selling the ranch produce around the local area. At the point when Anne was in her mid 20’s she felt a call to religious life. Against her mom’s desires, who had orchestrated a marriage for her, Anne entered the noviate of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary in 1890. Teacher to China.

In spite of the fact that she was at first enthused in her new life, the detachment from her family took an enormous mental toll on her. She wound up frequented by questions, seriously discouraged, totally pulled back, questioning her employment, at that point her mental stability, and after that her confidence itself. Driven back to the confidence and her mental stability by Mother Mary of the Passion, she was herself again when the last test came during a crackdown on remote evangelists during the Boxer Rebellion. One of the Martyrs of Shanxi and the Martyrs of China.
