St. Mathurin Biography

St. Mathurin was a raised a pagan and his father was even commissioned to persecute Christians. He was converted at age 12 and became a priest at age 20 after ordination by Saint Polycarp. He was a zealous evangelist in the region and even converted his parents. His tradition of dealing with the possessed led to his heritage of patronage of the mentally ill.
