Saint Mildred of Thanet, the daughter of Merewalh, King of Mercia, and St. Ermenburga of Thanet. Sister of St. Milburga and St. Mildgytha. Instructed at the community school of Chelles, close Paris, France. Rejected an idea of marriage, and entered the community of Minster on the Isle of Thanet, a house which was established by her mom, is still being used, and is one of the most established ceaselessly involved structures in Britain. Benedictine sister. Worked with St. Theodore of Canterbury. Abbess at Minster where one of her learners of St. Edburga. Noted for her liberality to poor people, and uncommon regard for social pariahs. Yearly journeys to her relics at Minster keep on today.
