Saint’s Biography

Saint Nereus of Terracina was a soldier in the Roman army and a member of the Praetorian Guard. He converted to Christianity and baptized by St. Peter the Apostle. Nereus was banished to the island of Pontia because of his faith. He suffered with Saint Flavia Domitilla and became a martyr with his brother, Saint Achilles.
