St Nicander of Alexandria Biography
St Nicander of Alexandria was born in Egypt. He was a physician who was not only noted for his charity but also for ministering to and treating people who were imprisoned for their faith, hence giving the Christian burial to a martyr who died in the persecution of Diocletian. St Nicander was Imprisoned, tortured and martyred for his faith and good works.
