St Nicon Biography
St Nicon of Sicily was born in the early 3rd century AD. He was a distinguished Roman soldier. Nicon then converted to Christianity while traveling in Palestine.
He was a spiritual student of Theodosius of Cyzicus. Nicon was the leader of 200 Christian disciples who fled to Sicily. This was because they were trying to escape persecutions of Decius in Palestine.
Nicon’s Death
He was martyred in 250 AD in Sicily, Italy.
