Saint Placid of Dissentis, Well off seventh century Swiss land proprietor. Companion of St. Sigisbert of Dissentis. Given the arrive on which Dissentis Abbey was established in Switzerland. He at that point went along with it as a priest and later was martyred protecting it. killed for guarding the ministerial privileges of the convent
