Saint’s Biography
Saint Reinhold of Cologne was a Benedictine monk at St. Pantaleon in Cologne. He came into conflict with the workers during a construction project, and they killed him and threw the body into the Rhine. Reinhold
Death
He was beaten to death with hammers by stone masons in 960 at Cologne, Germany and his body thrown in the Rhine River. The body later found through divine revelation and his relics transferred to the church of Saint Rheinold in Dortmund, Germany in 1059.
