St. Romanus of Condat Biography
St. Romanus of Condat was born a Roman as the brother of Saint Lupicinus. He became a monk at Lyon, France. He became a monk at Lyon, France at age 35. Late, he became a hermit in the Jura mountains with his brother and sister.
He founded the abbeys of Condat and Leuconne and the convent of La Beaume among others. he was the spiritual teacher of St. Eugendus of Condat. He was ordained by Saint Hilary of Arles.
